The F80, a hybrid like the SF90 XX, was itself groundbreaking with a 1,183 horsepower 3.0 V6, which is a about 150 horsepower more than the SF90 XX, showcasing Ferrari’s experimentation with hybrid technology. However, the SF90 XX has the advantage of Ferrari’s latest advancements in vehicle dynamics and energy recovery, notably with an enhanced feature that can deliver short power boosts exactly when exiting bends, improving cornering capability and overall lap times.
